  1. Remove trim panel on right side of climate controls and across the top of the climate and radio controls Release bolster panel on left side of controls Unbolt radio/climate controls and remove panel
    • Remove trim panel on right side of climate controls and across the top of the climate and radio controls

    • Release bolster panel on left side of controls

    • Unbolt radio/climate controls and remove panel

  2. Disconnect harnessing and plugs from radoio control module There is a bracket holding both the radio control module and the gateway module. Remove bracket and pull both modules from dash cavity There is a bracket holding both the radio control module and the gateway module. Remove bracket and pull both modules from dash cavity
    • Disconnect harnessing and plugs from radoio control module

    • There is a bracket holding both the radio control module and the gateway module. Remove bracket and pull both modules from dash cavity

  3. Disconnect black plug from gateway module Connect OEM harness to mating plug on T-harness Connect T-harness to gateway module
    • Disconnect black plug from gateway module

    • Connect OEM harness to mating plug on T-harness

    • Connect T-harness to gateway module

    • Mount FORD-MTE module securely away from any heat sources or moving parts

    • Re-install gateway module and radio control module

    • Re-assemble control panel, bolster panel, and trim.

    • To adjust the tank size:

    • Turn vehicle ignition on and press the back button and the down buttons on the steering wheel simultaneously to reduce the tank size

    • Turn vehicle ignition on and press the back button and the up buttons on the steering wheel simultaneously to increase the tank size
