Introduction

This guide assumes that the Show N Go license plate frame is installed correctly and working.

The MOTO213 is designed to activate the motorized plate frame both directions using the lock/unlock buttons from the OEM key fob and the OEM steering wheel controls.

  1. Disassemble under dash area on passenger side (under glove box) to gain access to fuse panel and CAN distribution block

  2. The MOTO213 has two CAN wires with a plug at the end

    • Connect 2 pin CAN plug to any empty spot in the distribution block with OEM brown and brown/red wires

  3. Connect provided red wire to constant power at the fuse box
    • Connect provided red wire to constant power at the fuse box

    • Connect provided black wire to chassis ground (OEM ground bolts near the fuse box)

    • Be sure to insulate and solder any hard-wired connection

    • The MOTO213 has two white wires. These wires are to drive the motorized plate frame.

    • The motorized plate frame will have two wires to the motor. Connect the white wires from the MOTO213 to the wires on the motorized plate frame. Polarity will depend on desired operation.

    • Test operation using lock and unlock on OEM key. Motorized plate frame will move one way from unlock and the opposite way for lock. The polarity will depend on how the plate frame is mounted and which direction is desired from lock or unlock. If the other orientation is desired, reverse the white wires.

    • Test operation from steering wheel controls.

    • With ignition turned on, the plate frame can be operated from the steering wheel controls.

    • Mute + Volume UP will move the same direction as lock from OEM key fob

    • Mute + Volume DOWN will move the same direction as unlock button from OEM key fob
